Nefertum is essentially a 5 year old clan based from a very novel old game from back in the 90's. Through the perseverence of our members though this guild has grown to have a meaning and way of behaving unique to it. Its fouding is shrouded in mystery, but the story goes that the man who created it knew what the name of the clan represented and pertained to, which is considered to be have intriguing historical, religious, and mystical significance which to the members who learned about it has always been very interesting.

Ultimately the ethics associated with Nefertum are centered around honesty, loyalty, and sincerity above all else to the point that we will take our integrity and less power and fame before we would sacrifice our ethics for power. The goal of Nefertum is to remain solid and unified with outgoing interesting people, and avoid the common shallowness of the masses. We want to be unique, and avoid people who pose and conform to fit in, more then anything we want people that like to learn and would stand up for their friends and beliefs rather do whatever makes them most liked by everyone.

The name Nefertum refers to one thing in particular, the God of the Lotus, an Egyptian diety, the son of Ra the Sun God. This historical and religious definition has always lent a theme to the guild so that it is more then just a name. We commonly use lotus flowers as symbols in our graphics and art. Cultures that involved Lotus flowers have always interested some members for the same reason. Lotus flowers are associated with Hinduism, Budhism, and Persian culture to name a few. Overall this leaves the clan with a good face and interesting background.
